Sometimes, if the carrier can't deliver the package to your address, they'll take it to a nearby pickup point. Here's what to do.
Why does this happen?
It usually happens when:
– No one was home during the delivery attempts
– There's an access issue at the address
– The carrier couldn't reach you
What should you do?
- Check the email or SMS the carrier sent you, it will have the pickup point address and the deadline to collect it (usually between 5 and 10 business days).
- Go to the pickup point with your ID or another form of identification.
- Collect your package within the deadline to avoid it being returned.
