How do customs costs work?

Modified on Thu, 9 Apr at 12:28 PM

If your order enters or leaves the European Union, you may be subject to customs costs or import duties. Here's how it works.

What are customs costs?

They are taxes that some countries apply to imported goods. The amount depends on the order value, the type of product and your country's tax regulations.

Are they included in the order price?

No. Duties and taxes are not included in the price or shipping costs and are the recipient's responsibility. Customs policies vary by country, we recommend checking with your local customs office for detailed information before placing your order.

How do I pay them?

The carrier (UPS or DHL) or your country's customs authority will contact you with the amount and how to pay it before delivering the package.

Can you cover those costs?

It's not within our power to cover customs costs or speed up customs processes, as they are handled directly by the carrier and your country's authorities. That said, we'll stay in close contact with the carrier on your behalf to keep you updated on any developments.

Have a question or is your package being held? Open a ticket with your order number and the details of the situation. We'll do everything we can.
